In order to set up a vehicle redemption to keep or retrieve your vehicle please complete the following:
Insurance must be current and active
All documents must be in the name of the debtor
Our payment team will respond to you within 48 hours

After we receive the application and documents detailed above, we will submit this information to the lender. The lender will then approve the redemption and provide us the amounts we must collect in order to reinstate the loan.
Our payment team will then email you a detailed statement and payment instructions.
If your vehicle has not been seized, you simply need to remit payment. If your vehicle has been seized, the payment team will also offer you an appointment time for one our bailiffs to meet you at the auction house to remit payment and collect your vehicle.
The process of submitting the documents, receiving amounts, and sending you a statement usually takes between 3-5 business days, although it can be longer depending on how quickly the lender responds.
After that we can usually book you an appointment within 2 days. We facilitate redemption appointments on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
The whole process typically takes 5-10 business days.

When sending an etransfer please ensure you include your case number in the memo. This can be located on top right side your statement.

If your vehicle has not been seized you are required to make payment within 3 days of receiving the statement.
If your vehicle has been seized you will receive a Notice of Intent to Sell from the lender in the mail. This will include the deadline to redeem, which is typically 21 days from the date of seizure. You must make an appointment to pay for and collect the vehicle before this date.

When a vehicle is up for repossession all arrears and fees must be collected in full in order to reinstate the loan.
Yes.
Please email a signed letter of authority to the payment team at payment@surreybailiffs.com detailing the name of the person you would like us to release the vehicle to on your behalf.
Yes.
You can have a friend, relative, or employer pay the statement on your behalf. Please ensure you provide the details of the payee to the payment team.
Insurance is a requirement on all loans. If the asset is a road vehicle you must have active insurance, in your name, at all times. If the asset is an off road unit you are required to have fire and theft insurance.
